Zhuriel

A draenei Vindicator for several millennia, Archon Zhuriel recently became Lightforged during a mission against the Burning Legion, far across the Twisting Nether.  Although the Lightforging process altered his physical appearance to some degree, he continues to exude a strong sense of purpose, morality, and compassion.

Zhuriel is a protector of the innocent, known for calling upon the Light to heal and bless his comrades, but also for bringing justice to his enemies.  A capable blacksmith who has forged weapons and armor of some skill, he most often carries one of the crystal hammers associated with his order into battle.

While many of his Lightforged brothers and sisters display a sometimes fanatical devotion to the Light, Zhuriel maintains the belief that the Light is merely a tool, albeit a wonderful one, and seeks justice through balance and understanding.  When his people first arrived on Azeroth, he joined the Netherbane to study the philosophy of “the Grey,” and has been a constant presence with the school ever since.
