Rephaia is a devout follower of the Holy Light. Having grown up on Draenor and having seen it crumble into Outland, she has become very protective of Azeroth and its peoples. She puts everything she can into her work, never allowing herself to slide into complacency and always pushing herself forward.
It was the discovery, early in life, that their mother was one of the man'ari eredar that pushed Rephaia and her twin sister, Saaira, deeper into the Light. They both became determined to prove that the darkness of their heritage did not define them, and they became vindicators of the Aldor in Shattrath.
Saaira's recent death, however, has planted the seed of doubt into Rephaia. Once believing herself to be invincible alongside her sister, Rephaia suddenly faced the harsh realities of Outland alone. Because of this, she fled to Azeroth.
She threw herself at the world's defense, helping to stop an early demonic incursion by the Burning Legion orchestrated by her mother. This dedication earned her the attention of the Prophet Velen, who quickly brought the young vindicator under his wing. It was not long before Velen named Rephaia one of the "Hands of the Prophet", a group of personal agents who answered only to Velen and his Light's Chosen.
Her deeds and her skill have earned her much respect over the years, and she now strides across Azeroth with the renewed purpose of one of the Lightforged.
