Garikhan Fireblade

Former member of the Burning Blade, Garikhan shed his loyalty to his clan and swore allegiance to Thrall after being freed from the internment camps of Lordaeron. He has been wandering Azeroth ever since, learning of the world and its ways, and working to atone for his past crimes under the old Horde.

He encountered Tharion Greyseer in the forests of the Ashenvale years ago, after hearing of the demon hunter through whispered curses. Sensing a soul similarly set against the corruption represented by the Burning Legion, Garikhan had found the night elf deep within the ruins of Forest Song.

Within each other, the two warriors found someone to whom honor and loyalty were important. Their struggles against demonic corruption were similar, though each found himself on opposite ends of the same spectrum. Garikhan had been influenced by the Burning Legion’s power, and was now seeking to shed it. Tharion was looking to further master and gain more of that same power.

For years after their first meeting, the two remained strong allies. When Tharion allowed Raelias Sunbled to lead a chapter of the Netherbane under the Horde banner, the elder demon hunter asked Garikhan to watch over and protect the youthful, and sometimes reckless, sin’dorei.

With toothy grin and an exasperated eyeroll, Garikhan Fireblade agreed.
