Arandor was once a paladin of the Silver Hand and a devout follower of the Light. That all changed when he was captured by the Scourge in an assault on the floating citadel of Naxxramas. He spent a year in captivity within the darkness of Naxxramas. His spirit was broken through heinous torture, his connection to the Light shattered through dark rituals. It was then, when only a mere shell of the man before was left, that an icy runeblade was offered to the former paladin, and from the moment that his hand closed around its leather wrapped grip, a dark pact was made that changed him forever. Gone was the paladin and warrior of justice from before, the death knight was all that remained.
For four years, Arandor, with the new surname of Soulsorrow, fought against the Scarlet Crusade and the Argent Dawn at the bidding of his new master, the Lich King. With his unholy abilities, Arandor ended many lives at the tip of his runeblade, and raised even more to undeath. It was during the battle of Light's Hope Chapel that he was finally freed from the Lich King's control.
Now with the Burning Legion's third invasion, Arandor sought to redeem his reprehensible actions and was at the forefront of the conflict, killing many demons with frost and sword. He even found new allies in the Netherbane. Unfortunately, a dark secret about his runeblade was revealed during these times—a secret that may change Arandor forever...
